Recreational Hockey

Our recreational program is for kids new to hockey that aren't ready to make full commitment that is necessary in the travel program.

This program is for players who turn 9 during this calendar year up to players who turn 14 this year.

Evaluations are held in August. Practices begin in the first week of September and your season runs until the middle of March. Games typically start in at the end of September and the league season ends with the playoffs in late February.

Your practices and home games will be played at the RecPlex in St. Peters and Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville.

Each player gets 2 ice times each week that are used for practices and home games. We do not run a set schedule, so you can practice any day of the week. Practices typically no earlier than 5:15 on weekdays.

Teams in this program play full-ice games. Depending on the size of the Missouri Hockey league your team is placed in, your team will play approximately 16-22 league games (including declaration games). You team may also vote to participate in tournaments to pick up additional games.

Players in this program must purchase our club jerseys. You can find more information about jerseys under Resources.

Additional Costs

Your Team Manager will be required to maintain a team bank account to cover expenses such as referee fees, travel permits and coaching registrations. At the start of the season each family will be asked for a deposit to get that account started. The amount varies by team, but it is typically around $100.

Recreational Hockey only has a few spots left, email  for available spots.

Recreational Evaluations will be September 7th. Times will be posted and emailed the last week of August.
